Job summary

The Trade Desk in San Francisco is seeking a Sr. Enterprise Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our Salesforce Sales Cloud platform.

You will own end-to-end development, build scalable Apex/LWC components, and lead integrations with internal and third-party systems. You will mentor junior engineers, enforce security and testing standards, and collaborate with Sales Ops, Product, and Legal to drive revenue efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering related discipline and 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Engineer with a focus on Sales Cloud.
• Deep expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
• Strong understanding of data model design, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processing.
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade code at scale.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with RESTful APIs and internal services.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and end-to-end development within Salesforce Sales Cloud.
• Architect and implement scalable, reusable Apex components, LWC components and design patterns.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Drive automation across opportunity lifecycle, sales processes, and approvals.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Review and enforce best practices around security, governor limits, and test coverage.
• Lead technical projects across sprint cycles, providing mentorship to junior engineers.
• Maintain high code quality through peer reviews and CI/CD processes.
