Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Salesforce QA Tester to support a federal modernization initiative, including Lightning migration. You will develop and execute test plans, validate Salesforce configuration and custom development, test integrations, and manage defects in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Salesforce QA experience, knowledge of Flow, Apex, LWC, SOQL, and experience with Jira or Azure DevOps. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years QA experience.
• Experience in Agile testing and test planning.
• Hands-on Salesforce QA including declarative configuration and Flow.
• Experience testing integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP).
• Proficient in defect-tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts across Salesforce config, customization, and integration.
• Collaborate with government leads to define acceptance criteria and release timing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT testing across sprints and releases.
• Validate declarative configuration and automation including Flow and Lightning App Builder.
• Test Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers, with backend validation using SOQL.
• Validate Salesforce integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP) across systems.
• Log and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps; document steps and severity.
• Verify data integrity, migrations, and reporting accuracy.
• Support Public Sector Solutions activities including release readiness and post-cutover stabilization.
• Ensure QA practices align with governance and compliance.
• Present briefing to government managers; produce test summaries and status updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
