Job summary

HESFP, LLC is hiring a Salesforce QA Tester to support a federal Salesforce modernization initiative, including a Classic to Lightning migration. You will develop test plans, validate configuration and custom development, and test integrations in a regulated federal environment.

The role requires hands-on Salesforce QA experience, knowledge of Salesforce automation, and experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management. U.S. Citizenship is required for government work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience; six years can substitute education.
• Hands-on QA/testing in an Agile environment with test planning, test case development, and defect management.
• Experience testing Salesforce applications, including declarative configuration and automation (Flow).
• Experience validating Apex, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL; testing integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP).
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts across Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration work.
• Collaborate with government leads and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and release timing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing across sprints and releases.
• Validate declarative configuration and automation (Flow, approvals, validation rules, Lightning App Builder).
• Test custom development (Apex, LWC, triggers) and backend validation using SOQL.
• Validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps with clear reproduction steps and severity.
• Verify data integrity, migrations, and reporting; support release readiness and post-cutover stabilization.
• Present test summaries and quality status updates to government managers.
