Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a Salesforce Functional Analyst/QA Tester who will translate business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions, work with architects and developers, and develop and maintain test plans and data migrations.

The role involves executing test plans, ensuring quality, and following coding standards. You will mentor junior resources, contribute to backlog grooming, and stay up to date with Salesforce features in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Salesforce certified professional with a minimum of two years of Salesforce functional experience.
• Experience working with product owners to translate business needs into Salesforce user stories.
• Experience delivering a Salesforce project using Agile.
• Experience leading grooming sessions, developing the product backlog, and leading Sprint ceremonies.
• Certified Scrum Master preferred.
• Experience with testing activities including data validation, functional, performance/load, usability, and accessibility (508).

Responsibilities

• Meet with product design team to determine testing parameters and acceptance criteria.
• Write test plans, create test cases, testing procedures, bug reports and QA reports.
• Manage test data architecture with the Tech Lead and coordinate data migration elements.
• Troubleshoot errors and streamline testing procedures across environments.
• Test and examine code written by others and analyze results (data validation, functional, performance/load, usability, accessibility).
• Assist in training rollouts to new users and grow application knowledge.
