Job summary

Steampunk is seeking a Program Manager who is a technical, creative leader to deliver Salesforce-based government solutions. You will manage teams and coordinate across clients, contractors, and leadership to ensure successful deployments.

Ideal candidates have extensive federal contracting experience, PMP, and a proven track record of guiding end-to-end programs from proposal to production, with strong communication and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven background in federal government contracting and project management.
• PMP Certification.
• 10+ Years in Program and Project Management.
• 10+ Years experience with technology.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Clearance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project.
• Experience leading Salesforce implementations in federal environments.
• Leadership with deployments of enterprise and custom software.
• Influence sponsors and stakeholders to solve governance and PM/technical problems.
• Experience defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Experience developing detailed plans, schedules, and risk management.
• Experience generating executive reports and dashboards on program health.
• Experience using data-driven insights to identify improvements.
• Proven experience growing and delivering, with strong communication.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes, contracts (GSA/IDIQ), and FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, task orders, and subcontractor relationships.
• Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution delivery in federal gov contracting Salesforce environments.
• Coordinate client, technical teams, and leadership to ensure success.
• Provide hands-on proposal support and prototyping for deployments.
• Drive governance, risk, and stakeholder communications throughout programs.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and contract terms to meet milestones.
