Steampunk is seeking a Program Manager who is a technical, creative, hands-on leader to drive the delivery of Salesforce-based solutions for federal government clients. You will lead cross-functional teams, engage with clients, and ensure proposals, prototyping, and production deployments meet contract terms, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field with 14+ years of experience.
  • Proven background in federal government contracting and project management.
  • PMP Certification.
  • 10+ Years in Program and Project Management.
  • Ability to obtain Federal Clearance.
  • Experience leading Salesforce implementations in federal government contracting environments.
  • Experience defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and metrics.
  • Experience developing detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies.
  • Experience generating executive-level reports and dashboards on program health, milestones, and financial performance.
  • Knowledge of data-driven insights to identify areas of improvement and optimization.
  • Proven experience growing and selling, while delivering.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployments of Salesforce-based solutions in government contracting environments.
  • Manage end-to-end program lifecycle from proposal support to deployment.

Overview

Steampunk is seeking Program Managerswho are technical, creative, hands-on experts with delivering innovative technology solutions. Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative capacity and will have experience managing teams of technical personnel to buildSalesforcesystems. Responsibilities will include leadership of teams for the complete lifecycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal technical support to prototyping client implementations and complete production deployment. This individual will ensure effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions. This role involves managing complex projects and programs, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with government regulations. The individual will serve as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and leadership, driving successful outcomes while adhering to contract terms, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities

As aProgram Manager, you will be the leader, driving delivery in a government client consulting environment. You will be a client manager, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading deployments of solutions in a federal government contracting Salesforce environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology and 14+ years of experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Proven background in federal government contracting and project management.
  • PMP Certification.

  • 10+ Years experience with technology.
  • Ability to get a Federal Clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience leading Salesforce implementations in federal government contracting environments.
  • Leadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out.
  • Proven experience of leading the deployment of enterprise and custom software solutions in client environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems.
  • Experience defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Experience developing detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies.
  • Experience generating executive-level reports and dashboards on program health, milestones, and financial performance.
  • Experience using xdata-driven insights to identify areas of improvement and recommend optimizations.
  • Proven experience growing and selling, while delivering.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.

  • Knowledge of government procurement processes, contracts (e.g., GSA schedules, IDIQ), and compliance standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS).

  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
Preferred
  • Masters Degree, preferably in Information Technology and 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • DOD Tier 3 clearance.
  • Experience with Human-Centered Design.
