Job summary

Thunder is a remote-first, global team seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Architect with deep Salesforce and AWS knowledge to scope, design, and close complex opportunities. You will lead discovery, workshops, and documentation, crafting compelling proposals that align customer needs with Thunder capabilities.

You will drive strategic presales activities, manage risk, and partner with Sales and Delivery to ensure successful engagements, including involvement across SMB to Enterprise accounts.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Salesforce implementation/delivery consulting.
• 2–3+ years designing solutions for SMB to Enterprise.
• Track record as project owner/Solution Architect for Salesforce deployments.
• Experience leading presales activities and solution workshops.
• Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud and PEM.

Responsibilities

• Holds responsibility of the prospective client once an opportunity is qualified by Thunder's Sales team.
• Leads pre-sales discovery calls, solution visioning/workshops, and use-case documentation.
• Participates in strategic presales activities, aligning Salesforce with business transformation.
• Generates estimates and presents proposals highlighting Thunder's differentiators.
• Manages multiple meetings and estimates across sales cycle phases (8-10 on average).
• Communicates with internal/external teams and negotiates proposals through to completion.
• Provides technical advisory during negotiations, identifying risks and mitigations.
