Job summary

ACN Communications Services LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lead Salesforce Platform Engineer to own the Salesforce estate, drive technical health, and guide platform evolution.

This hands-on role requires strong Salesforce engineering, architecture judgment, and the ability to mentor developers while interfacing with analysts, project management, and IT leadership.

Onsite work with standard office hours; occasional travel may be required for continuing education and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Salesforce engineering experience with technical ownership.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and platform design patterns.
• Broad Salesforce expertise beyond custom development including data, security, automation.
• Strong understanding of Service Cloud and Experience Cloud implementations.
• Ability to take a business capability from requirements to deployment and support.
• Strong REST/SOAP integrations, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven mentorship and technical leadership without formal people management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the hands-on technical owner for the Salesforce platform with health and evolution accountability.
• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions for complex business capabilities including data models and security.
• Remain directly involved in implementation using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, asynchronous processing, and APIs.
• Evaluate requirements with stakeholders and IT leadership, present tradeoffs, risks, and options.
• Promote native Salesforce capabilities and advise when outside-Salesforce solutions are better.
