Job summary

ACN is seeking a Lead Salesforce Platform Engineer in Charlotte, NC. The role is hands-on, owner‑level, and requires strong software engineering capability, solution design, and leadership within the Salesforce domain.

The engineer will oversee the Salesforce estate, guide architecture, and collaborate with IT leadership, analysts, and delivery teams to refine requirements and select optimal technical approaches. Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive Salesforce engineering experience with technical ownership.
Deep hands-on expertise with Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and API design.
Broad Salesforce platform knowledge including data architecture, security, automation, and integrations.

Responsibilities

Serve as hands-on technical owner and SME for the Salesforce platform.
Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions for complex business capabilities.
Remain involved in implementation, coding with Salesforce technologies, and mentoring developers.
Evaluate requirements and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Promote native Salesforce capabilities and enterprise solutions when appropriate.
Make day-to-day technical decisions within established architecture standards.
