Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Platform Services to shape architecture and drive engineering excellence across globally scaled digital experiences.

You will mentor engineers and partner with product, architecture, and platform teams to design scalable cloud-native services that power Salesforce’s AI-powered CRM ecosystem. You will lead the evolution of high-scale distributed systems, APIs, and secure, resilient platforms while championing best practices in testing,

Qualifications

• Design, build, scale and maintain large production services.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong API design and security practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for SDLC.
• Experience with TDD and testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience
