Job summary

Altium, a San Diego-based software company, seeks a Sr Sales Operations Analyst, Salesforce Administrator to optimize our Salesforce platform and governance practices. You will collaborate across departments to translate requirements into scalable, user-friendly solutions and drive adoption through training.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Admin experience (Sales/Service Cloud) and strong Revenue Cloud/CPQ knowledge.

Qualifications

Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist) are a plus
Bachelor's Degree
Strong Salesforce Revenue Cloud knowledge and at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering CPQ
Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools, including Flow
Strong Salesforce product knowledge and 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce Administration experience with Sales or Service Cloud
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with Salesforce governance and change management best practices

Responsibilities

All aspects of User and License Management including new user setup/deactivation, Roles, Profiles, Permissions, Public Groups, Organization-Wide Defaults, & Sharing rules
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Data Governance, Change Management, & Data Policies
Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization within Salesforce
Conduct regular data audits and recommend improvements to the overall structures and data model
Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
Monitor user adoption and drive improvements through training, enablement, and platform enhancements
New user and ongoing user training
Create and maintain Salesforce technical documentation
Identify unused or underutilized platform features, connected apps and, apex
Work with integrated applications including Ringlead, NetSuite, DocuSign, Boomi and more
