Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce Enterprise Applications Lead in Boston, MA. The role focuses on steering a cross-functional Salesforce ecosystem and connected business applications to deliver reliable, scalable operations.

You will guide architectural decisions, manage integration patterns, and mentor teams to sustain platform health and incident response across the enterprise landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with demonstrated technical leadership in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, platform architecture, security, automation, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP services, Apex, Flow, data models, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Experience reviewing solution designs, architecture, production support issues, and technical implementation approaches.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical lead and escalation point for Salesforce and all boundary applications within the managed services environment.
• Provide technical leadership across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Account Engagement, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, Data Cloud, and related integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform technical triage, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and SMEs through resolution.
• Assess the impact of Salesforce releases, managed package updates, application upgrades, and integration changes across the ecosystem.
• Maintain application inventories, integration documentation, dependency maps, runbooks, and support knowledge bases.
• Develop working knowledge of integrated platforms including Gainsight, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Profound, Qualified, Everstage, AEM, Synthesia, Cvent, Salesloft, Qualtrics, Qvidian, and Google Analytics.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, providing guidance on incidents, risks, enhancements, and platform health.
