Job summary

Decisive-Point-Consulting is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design and build solutions on the Salesforce platform for a prospective CBP contract. This hands-on engineering role demands owning complex development end to end and serving as the senior technical voice for the team.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, integrate with external systems, and mentor engineers while aligning with government security requirements and Agile delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I & III certifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, and declarative config.
• Build and maintain integrations with REST and SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware.
• Extend the data model with objects, relationships, and permission sets for scale.
• Review code, unit tests, and enforce Salesforce best practices on governor limits, security, and maintainability.
• Manage releases through Git, Salesforce CLI, scratch orgs, and sandboxes.
