New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to bridge technical execution and business needs. You’ll own complex features, review code, and shape hands‑on solutions in a high‑visibility role with architects and product strategists.

You’ll deliver Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations with REST/SOAP, while upholding Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and secure design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software development on the Salesforce platform with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL.
• Active Salesforce certifications valued (Data Architecture & Management Designer, or Application Architect).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external APIs using REST/SOAP and OAuth.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Salesforce DX, and automated CI/CD release management.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, enterprise design patterns, and governor limit management.
• Consultancy or client-facing professional services experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Apex code, LWC, and platform event architecture to satisfy complex business requirements while respecting governor limits.
• Combine native declarative capabilities with custom engineering for long-term maintainability and performance.
• Build and maintain secure integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architectural reviews, and grooming sessions with team leads and architects.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, write unit tests, and ensure security models.
• Utilize Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD tools to support seamless deployment cycles.
• Mentor Associate and Mid-Level Engineers, fostering continuous learning and growth.
• Collaborate with product strategists, UX designers, and client stakeholders to align sprint goals.
