Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and deliver Tableau dashboards for our CRM needs. You will work with business analysts and admins to implement scalable solutions and integrate data across systems.

Requirements include 4+ years in Salesforce development, Apex/Lightning, SQL, and a bachelor’s degree in CS or software engineering; Platform Developer II certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Salesforce API and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce as needed.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and set realistic schedules.
• Assist with releases and deployments of new/updated code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test application stability and functionality and fix bugs.
• Maintain security and data integrity of the application.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards/reports/data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments and refreshes.
