Job summary

McKesson seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications supporting healthcare operations in Richmond. You will collaborate with senior developers, BAs, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions in an Agile/SAFe environment.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, expertise in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and integrations, plus a commitment to data security and compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security.
• Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
• Agile & SAFe Participation: Engage in Agile/SAFe processes and scaled ceremonies.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to generate code.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of custom Salesforce applications using declarative and code-based approaches.
• Design scalable solutions aligned with business goals and Salesforce best practices.
• Leverage AI-powered Salesforce tools to enhance user experience and insights.
