Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Richmond/Dallas/Jacksonville team. You will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce apps, write Apex and Lightning Web Components, and drive CRM initiatives in an enterprise environment.

Work closely with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions, while mentoring junior developers and overseeing deployments in a SAFe/Agile setting. Knowledge of AI tools and integration patterns is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security.
• Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect) are a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
• Agile & SAFe Participation: Engage in Agile/SAFe processes like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives. Contribute to scaled agile ceremonies and workflows.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to generate code

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-powered Salesforce tools to enhance user experience and insights.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within Salesforce.
• Stay current with Salesforce updates and AI capabilities to drive improvement.
