Job summary

State of Colorado - Governor's Office of Information Technology (OIT) seeks a Salesforce Senior Developer to support secure digital services for Coloradans. You will work across the full SDLC, collaborate with business analysts and customers, implement secure coding practices, and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities include unit testing, version control, deployment and release management, and planning for modernization as applications age.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Experience applying digital accessibility regulations and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) to business processes, content, tools, and/or documents, with examples of accessibility improvements.

Responsibilities

• Software development using Agile or Waterfall methodologies; help create estimates and timelines.
• Coding and managing configurations for COTS applications.
• Minimize defects with disciplined testing approach.
• Implement break/fix solutions and update documentation accordingly.
• Resolve issues in the development process with proactive problem-solving and planning for future enhancements.
