Job summary

The University of North Carolina seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions (Apex, LWC, Flow) across academic, student affairs, and administrative units. You will gather requirements from business stakeholders, evaluate configuration vs code, and ensure security, data modeling, and reliable integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware.

This position is based in Charlotte, requires 40 hours per week, and includes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of Salesforce platform experience, including hands-on development (Apex, LWC).
• Experience designing/integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow and declarative config.
• Manage complex CRM projects with multiple integrations and security requirements.
• Evaluate whether requirements are best met by configuration or code, documenting rationale.
• Build and maintain scalable data models, validation rules, automation, and reporting.
