Job summary

NC State University’s College of Engineering Advancement is seeking a Development Associate to support the fundraising team with high-level administrative and project coordination. You will facilitate donor communications, coordinate meetings, and ensure efficient execution of advancement initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience providing high-level administrative, operational, or program support in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with financial processes and administrative coordination (e.g., expenses, reimbursements, tracking).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for leadership reporting and briefing materials.
• Experience working with databases or data/reporting tools to manage information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team meetings and activities, manage calendars, travel for senior leadership, and provide day-to-day administrative support for the fundraising team.
• Support projects and programmatic initiatives that advance fundraising efforts and coordinate meetings with donors, prospects, volunteers, and campus colleagues.
• Maintain organized workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency in the Advancement Office.
