Job summary

Mercer Advisors seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer/Engineer to enhance and expand our Salesforce ecosystem. The role focuses on designing, building, and deploying advanced solutions, integrating with enterprise systems, and leveraging AI tools like Einstein and Agentforce to improve advisor productivity and client engagement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, strong Apex/Visualforce/Lightning skills, and deep SDLC/Agile knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development with a proven track record of complex project execution.
In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including SDLC, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs. Implementations of custom solutions and integrations within Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Advanced Development: Design and build Visualforce pages, custom controllers, and Lightning components using Apex and other Salesforce technologies.
AI & Intelligent Automation: Design and implement AI-powered solutions using Einstein and Agentforce to automate workflows and enhance advisor/client experience.
Integration Management: Lead development of complex integrations across Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
Customization: Create and maintain custom objects, code, and test methods for various processes.
Process Improvement: Adopt best practices for Salesforce deployments including AI tools and generative AI features.
Data Strategy & AI Readiness: Ensure data quality and governance to support AI models and predictive analytics in Salesforce.
Collaboration: Translate business requirements into technical specs and deliver data-driven solutions.
Project Management: Ensure timely delivery with clear communication on progress.
Quality Assurance: Validate AI models for accuracy, bias and regulatory compliance.
Mentorship: Upskill team on AI capabilities and Salesforce best practices.
