The resource will be responsible for developing customization, automation, and user experience enhancements, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure smooth system operations.

The resource is responsible for end-to-end implementation and administration of Salesforce, including user management, security, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Salesforce Technology Specialist (Administrator/Developer/Architect):

Platform Administration and Management:

Administering and maintaining the Salesforce platform, including user access, data management, and system security.

Customizing Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, and workflows.

Developing automated processes to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

Integration and Development:

Facilitating integration between Salesforce and other systems, contributing to development efforts using APEX/Visualforce.

Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and end-user training.

Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and design improvements.

Staying updated on Salesforce releases and best practices.

Creating documentation for processes and changes, and supporting change management.

Responsibilities:

Administer Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.), manage users, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.

Manage custom objects, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and automation tools.

Lead system upgrades, data imports/exports, duplication efforts, and integrations.

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

Design Salesforce architecture solutions across various clouds.

Provide technical leadership on integrations, custom development, and third-party solutions.

Maintain documentation, data models, and diagrams.

Translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.

Evaluate tools from Salesforce AppExchange and external vendors.

Follow best practices in development, including Apex, LWC/Aura, SOQL, and DevOps pipelines.

Implement complex business logic and integrations with external services.

Lead deployment processes using CI/CD tools like Salesforce DX, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset.

Maintain version control and manage release cycles.

Ensure quality through code reviews and adherence to standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to drive platform governance.

Stay current on Salesforce updates and trends to improve platform capabilities.

Guide Salesforce Center of Excellence practices, including design standards and data stewardship.

Serve as a point of contact for support, troubleshooting, and escalations.

Maintain system documentation and training materials.

Participate in projects involving Salesforce development, integration, and deployment.

Work with clients to define requirements and deliver solutions.

Lead technical design sessions and document solutions aligned with client goals.

Oversee Salesforce projects and ensure quality standards.

Handle custom development, integrations, and data migration tasks.

Maintain target billable utilization.

Deep dive into debugging and understanding project issues.

Participate in pre-sales activities like discovery and POC development when needed.
