Kentro is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deploy secure Salesforce applications for a cloud-native enterprise system. You'll work with Public Sector Solutions (PSS), Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to implement workflows, user experiences, and API integrations supporting mission-critical use cases—including offline access via Pulsar. This is a high-impact delivery role ideal for candidates with GovCon experience supporting DHS agencies such as TSA, CBP, ICE, or USCIS.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow Builder, and PSS data models.
  • Implement secure user experiences and responsive portals, including offline-enabled functionality using Pulsar.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and MuleSoft engineers to implement integrated business workflows and data exchanges.
  • Maintain and refactor code for scalability, reusability, and compliance with DevSecOps practices.
  • Participate in sprint planning, demos, and backlog grooming as part of a high-performing Agile team.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including custom and declarative components across Experience Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling, access controls, governor limits, and secure coding practices.
  • Previous delivery experience in federal programs, particularly within DHS (CBP, TSA, USCIS, ICE) or related civilian agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Certifications Required:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
  • Salesforce Associate (required)
  • Platform Developer II or Experience Cloud Consultant (preferred)

Preferred:

  • Experience implementing or supporting Pulsar for offline user access.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft APIs or middleware integration patterns.
  • Hands-on involvement in a large-scale low-code application rollout.
  • Exposure to Tableau dashboards embedded in Salesforce environments.

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
