*Job Description:*
The Huntington Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking a Technical Lead to participate in development activities spanning multiple Salesforce platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Independently build and unit test components as well as work with Dev/QA team members to resolve code and configuration-based defects. Lead a dev team and provide guidance/mentor as needed.
- Provide direction to the dev team to conduct research and document results for new Salesforce capabilities or review existing platform-related issues.
- Lead Proof of Concepts with architects to evaluate and document new designs, integrations, patterns, and practices.
- Have 7+ years of Sales Cloud experience and Service Cloud experience is a must.
- Have strong experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (4+ years) and experience with MuleSoft.
- Must possess leadership skills, understand deployments, DevOps processes, and have knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Conduct peer reviews, deploy code, and adhere to coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Engage in design work, peer reviews, with less hands-on development.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Provide leadership and demonstrate proficiency in core Salesforce capabilities such as Apex, LWCs, flows, triggers, complex formulas, workflows, and security.
- Participate in agile practices and ceremonies, including planning, user story refinement, daily updates, code reviews, and team leadership.
- Enhance DevOps processes, including pipelines, monitoring, and test automation.
- Understand enterprise cross-system integration concepts like event processing and API interactions.
- Conduct product/solution evaluations, including Salesforce capabilities and third-party offerings, creating prototypes and proof of concepts to meet business goals.
- Design, document, and develop best practices for the COE technical delivery organization.
- Mentor technical staff.
*Basic Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 4 years of responsible technical and business experience developing enterprise applications, including full-stack Salesforce development.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Scrum team environment.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of SFDC Data Model across various clouds/products and data modeling experience.
- Subject matter expertise in GIT or equivalent branching/code merging practices.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Salesforce Certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer 1 and 2, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Consultants.
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce managed package deployment and upgrades.
- Experience with Salesforce CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Copado, Gearset.
