Job summary

Toast is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to drive high-performance Salesforce solutions, including CPQ, Apex, and LWC. You will mentor junior developers, own code reviews, and oversee end-to-end deployments within a SCRUM framework.

Hybrid in-office collaboration is available for those near Toast locations. You bring 10+ years of enterprise Salesforce experience, deep CPQ expertise, and strong SDLC/Agile skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Salesforce development experience within a large-scale Enterprise environment.
• Deep hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience with Products, Pricing Rules, and Lookup Queries; familiarity with DocuSign and Conga.
• Advanced Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform event-driven architectures, Web-services & integration.
• Experience leading a team of developers through successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications; CPQ Specialist certification is a plus.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days per week in-office) if located within 25–50 miles of a Toast office.

Responsibilities

• Drive development of high-performance Salesforce solutions including CPQ, Apex, and LWC.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce data model, security and visibility best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and own code reviews.
• Oversee end-to-end deployment lifecycle: GitHub PRs, merges, CI/CD.
• Partner with leadership for accurate story sizing and SCRUM-based estimates.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues using Developer Console, Workbench, and logs.
• Advocate for AI tools to improve development velocity and innovation.
