Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Architect to act as the technical backbone for the Business Systems team, owning architecture decisions and hands-on delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud. You will drive design sessions, write standards, and lead security hardening while delivering complex integrations and migrations.

The role is remote within the United States, with compensation structured by national tiers and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

10+ years Salesforce technical experience spanning development, configuration and architecture.
Deep hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Experience with Revenue Cloud or CPQ migration work.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and platform events.
Direct experience leading or contributing to Salesforce security hardening.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Revenue Cloud (including CPQ→Revenue migration).
Lead architecture sessions and produce design documents, options, and tradeoffs.
Design, build, test, and deploy in an Agile framework using Salesforce technologies.
Configure, code, and deploy complex Salesforce solutions across GTM and compliance workflows.
Own security hardening, org health assessments, and release management processes.
