Job summary

The Office of the Assessor-Recorder in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Technology Engineer to lead the Salesforce Architect function for the SMART platform. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, shaping design strategy, governance, and data management across an enterprise-scale system.

You will provide technical leadership, oversee integrations, security, and performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or closely related field, or equivalent credits.
• Three years of experience analyzing, installing, configuring, maintaining systems or platforms.
• Salesforce certifications preferred (Sales Cloud/Service Cloud, Application Architect, System Architect).

Responsibilities

• Determine requirements for development or enhancement of systems supporting city technology.
• Design, plan, integrate, test, implement, document, and enhance system components.
• Analyze, detect, identify and correct platforms or systems.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support for incident response, troubleshooting, and recovery.
• Coordinate with vendors and departments; implement measures through collaboration.
• Facilitate demonstration and training of staff on new technology products.
• Document procedures and troubleshooting techniques for systems/products.
