Senior Sales Specialist, Mid Atlantic (MD, DE, VA, NJ, PA)

Location: remote, Mid-Atlantic (strong preference for Maryland)

The Role

With their very first product launch imminent, we're looking for a strategic-hunter style sales professional ideally based in the Maryland/DC area to lead the commercial efforts of a disruptive multiplex precision genomic system across the Mid Atlantic region.

You'll be at the forefront of introducing a new technology to market—bringing creativity, technical know-how, and genuine customer focus to every interaction. If you have experience selling new genomic technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumable sales, and you're excited by developing new business, we'd LOVE to meet you. Experience selling into biopharma/biotech, especially with gene therapy, rare disease, or oncology MRD applications, is highly attractive!

You will initially report directly to the CEO, with a transition to the sales leader as the organization scales — a highly visible and empowered position.

The Skills You’ll Possess

  • A bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of sales experience driving the adoption of novel genomic instrumentation & consumables.
  • Comfort using SFDC or a similar CRM.
  • A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision-makers.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including occasional overnight trips).
  • A base in or near Maryland/DC (preferred), but anywhere in the territory is acceptable.
