Job summary

Mondo, a high-growth financial services startup in NYC, seeks a Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales team focused on merchant cash advances and business debt relief. You will report directly to the CEO in a lean organization, coaching reps to close and owning a multi-deal, KPI-driven process.

The role requires a structured, authoritative people manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with autonomy and direct accountability for the team.

Qualifications

• Proven long-standing sales management experience in a fast-growth setting.
• Experience with MCA relief, business debt settlement or alternative lending.
• Ability to quantify impact on team performance and growth.
• History of promoting or expanding scope within sales leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a team of about 6 direct reports.
• Know the status of every deal on the floor and stay involved in deals.
• Coach reps on closing by listening to live/recorded calls.
• Run daily and weekly pipeline management and reviews.
• Track rep performance, activity metrics, conversion, and lead lifecycle.
• Recruit, hire, and manage sales personnel.
• Lead team meetings and report performance updates to leadership.
