Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Greater China is seeking a senior Business Development professional to build demand for automotive solutions and influence OEM roadmaps. You will identify new applications, create region-specific strategies, and drive execution with regional BLs and CAS/R&D teams.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and the ability to align technical and business perspectives with market opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Build demand for NXP offerings with automotive OEMs and ecosystem participants.
  • Develop markets and influence automotive OEM customers.
  • Identify new applications and opportunities within the region.
  • Create an application-focused strategy aligned with BLs and drive execution.
  • Participate in standardization activities to represent NXP technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for new and existing solutions.

  • Build demand for NXP offerings with existing and prospective automotive OEMs by engaging and influencing their end customers and ecosystem participants.
  • Develop markets and influence automotive OEM customers.
  • Identify new applications and new opportunities for existing applications and products/solutions within the region.
  • Create an application-focused strategy for the area of responsibility, aligned with the Business Lines (BLs), and drive its execution within the region.
  • Participate in application-specific standardization activities to ensure NXP’s technologies and positions are effectively represented and incorporated into industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for both new and existing solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with local ecosystem stakeholders, including automotive OEMs, carriers, silicon influencers, and other industry participants. Influence their roadmaps and leverage partnerships, connections, and innovations to maximize NXP business opportunities.
  • Influence local government policies and regulations relevant to NXP’s business objectives.
  • Research industry trends, events, publications, and market developments; monitor key contributors and their achievements.
  • Provide customer insights and market feedback to BLs to help shape solution roadmaps.
  • Explore and establish potential partnerships to accelerate market development.
  • Collaborate with the CAS team to create CBG solutions.
  • Work closely with BL R&D teams to define and influence solution architectures and product roadmaps.
