Job Description SummaryThe Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading customer relationships across the Gas Power portfolio in North America. Responsible for orders, commitments, and convertible orders for a defined region, will manage the customer relationship for accounts within respective region and lead deal negotiations / closure with customers while partnering with commercial operations to develop winning strategies and achieve order closure. High level of commercial judgment is required to achieve the required outcomes.
Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Excellent understanding of the energy market (dynamics & trends), including the regulatory framework.
- Develop long term strategic plans by market and customer to drive penetration and growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with energy regulators, system operators and government agencies responsible for the power sector.
- Develop relationships with investors, financial institutions, fuel providers (such as Natural Gas and LNG suppliers).
- Continuously monitor and drive opportunity development by early engagement of project developers.
- Responsible for coordinated 'one face to the customer' across HDGT and Aero product portfolios.
- Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies with the respective internal teams.
- Drive orders, sales, cash and contribution margin growth.
- Support positioning of the Long-Term Service Agreements.
- Provide support to the project implementation team.
- Share knowledge internally and use market knowledge to drive sales opportunities with customers.
- Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations.
- Responsible for keeping SFDC up to date with the region's opportunities (forecast and active).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry / knowledge of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine technology products and services
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Commercial Operations, Technical Sales, or Customer Service
in the Power Generation industry

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is: $128,400.00 - 175,000.00 USD Annual
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Sales Incentive bonus up to 35%.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. This position will stay open on the career website until at least May 25th. 2025
