Job description

Pricer is actively seeking a Senior Sales Executive to spearhead regional sales, focusing on building strategic partnerships with new Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers across diverse retail verticals and emerging markets. This pivotal role also involves nurturing and expanding existing customer relationships, all while ensuring alignment with Pricer's global corporate strategy and go-to-market plans.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

·Account Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key retail chain clients, deeply understanding their needs to deliver tailored solutions.

·Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.

·Revenue Forecasting and Optimization:

oGenerate short- and long-term opportunity and revenue forecasts, meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs), and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

oFormulate and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

·Upselling and Cross-selling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

·Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive expertise in our hardware and solutions, continuously staying informed about industry trends and advancements.

·Client Support and Acquisition: Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Develop and implement effective customer acquisition strategies to broaden the customer base.

·Customer Retention and Loyalty: Implement customer-centric strategies focused on enhancing customer retention, fostering loyalty, and maximizing customer lifetime value.

·Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

·Reporting: Prepare regular and insightful sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.

·Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer success.

·Leadership and Mentoring: Ability to guide junior sales staff and lead sales meetings to foster a collaborative and high-performing sales team.

·Performance Metrics: Track and analyze performance metrics to continuously improve sales strategies.

Communication Skills: Utilize effective communication and negotiation skills to respectfully interact with clients and internal teams.

To Be Successful

This executive is responsible for driving digital innovation and solutions within the sales organization and in collaboration with both current and prospective customers.

A critical aspect of this role involves driving continuous profitability improvements through the implementation of varied pricing and upselling strategies. Furthermore, the focus will be on increasing recurring revenue streams by evolving the sales approach from traditional product sales to comprehensive solution and SaaS (Software as a Service) offerings.

The Senior Sales Executive will analyse market trends and competitor strategies to adapt and refine sales approaches. They will gather and utilize customer feedback to improve products and services, leveraging CRM and other sales tools to optimize processes and track performance.

Education and Experience

·Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a closely related field.

Domain Expertise

·Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in key account management or sales, ideally within the Retail, Hardware, Pharmaceutical, and Technology sectors.

·C-Level Relationship Building: Proven experience in establishing and nurturing strong relationships with C-Level executives and other senior decision-makers.

·Trusted Advisor Capability: Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and tailored solutions that align with clients' critical business objectives.

·CRM and Sales Automation Proficiency: Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and sales automation tools to manage relationships and optimize sales processes.

·AI and Machine Learning Awareness: Familiarity with the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in sales analytics to drive informed decision-making.

General

·Willing to travel up to 40% of the time primarily in the US with occasional European travel

Terms of Employment

Type of Employment: Full-time

Type of Role: This role is primarily remote, with travel expected for customer engagements and occasional visits to Denver and/or Stockholm HQ.

Location:The Senior Sales Executive (East) should reside within the Central or Eastern time zones.
