What does a successful Sales Executive - Digital Payment Solutions do at Fiserv?

As a global leader in financial services technology, Fiserv is at the forefront of driving innovation and transforming the way financial services are delivered. Within our Digital Payment Solutions (DPS) business, the Sales Executive plays a vital role in meeting our customers' strategic goals by selling our unique SMB Payments solution, CashFlow Central. You will collaborate with our Account Team to support operational and strategic needs, ensure client relationships are enhanced, and maximize the value of our partnerships through data-driven insights and industry best practices.

What you will do:
  • Deliver the value proposition and build relationships at the C-Level of the client organization.
  • Collaborate and partner with Account Executives & Relationship Managers for account planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements between Fiserv and assigned client base, including cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Provide clear requirements and expectations of specific client requests to internal support teams.
  • Participate in implementations to ensure ongoing services are delivered on time and meet client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, participating in client meetings to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure operational and matrixed teams maintain a clear understanding of client needs, offering day-to-day advice and support.
  • Travel frequently, approximately 60%, to engage with clients and support project timelines.

What you will need to have:
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the financial services industry.
  • 8+ years of experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering value propositions and engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong executive presence to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:
  • 8+ years of experience in SMB payments solutions.
  • 8+ years of experience in driving process improvements and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience working with matrixed teams to deliver client projects.
  • Aptitude for technology and analysis tools supporting financial services.
  • Previous financial services industry experience with proficiency in oral and written communication.


Salary Range:
$95,700.00-$149,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
