RDX is an asset-based 3 PL/Brokerage based in Memphis, TN. It was founded by Roumen Denkov and Dee Tchoparov in 2011, two Bulgarian immigrants and former drivers. The company operates over 110 trucks and serves all 48 states and Canada. Growing its customer base, RDX Brokerage provides multiple modes of transportation and high level of service. In 2022, RDX has purchased 41 acres and built a new state of the art corporate office in Memphis, TN.
Looking for a Senior Sales Executive with Brokerage Experience A MUST.
Job Purpose:
Outside facing sales executive tasked with building existing customer relationships and pursuing new customer base for the brokerage.
Responsibilities:
1) Develop assigned lead coverage plan with the General Manager to prioritize sales development, research, customer contact and visit plan, as well as follow up strategy in relation to Operations.
2) Demonstrate sales competence and technical competence in Transportation Industry.
3) To have strong familiarity with RDX Sales Tools and promote the full scope of RDX service as part of ongoing sales calls.
4) Utilize Strategic Quoting to maximize sales and margins by working with Inside Sales and the Director of Operations to set customer price levels.
5) Use Zoho program to create a company wide data base on assigned leads including customer contacts, correspondence, quotations, pricing, and goals. Maintain data on ongoing basis to ensure accuracy in the customer information.
6) Use customer entertainment to develop and cement customer relationships by promoting in person interaction, lunches & sporting events including utilizing executive visits by management.
7) Gather complete information on his customer needs including the facts about the customer’s process, their personnel, and their model/functions.
8) Development of new business with Existing customers and development of new business with New Customers.
