Our client in New York’s SoHo district seeks a Senior Sales Executive to lead first flagship boutique with high jewelry focus. The role is a senior individual contributor responsible for cultivating deep client relationships, converting private appointments, and driving six-figure transactions on-site.

Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join the opening team of its first flagship boutique in SoHo, New York. This is a senior individual contributor role for a high jewelry seller who can cultivate deep client relationships, convert private appointments and walk-in traffic, and help establish the selling culture of a founder-led luxury house. The opportunity is best suited to someone with a proven high jewelry book, strong discretion, and the ability to represent an emerging retail concept with confidence and polish in a fully on-site environment.
Drive individual sales performance against personal goals and overall boutique targets.
Build, develop, and maintain a portfolio of VVIP, UHNW, and high-potential clients.
Generate new business through outreach, referrals, repeat business, and personal client development.
Lead high jewelry appointments with confidence, including private viewings, bespoke discussions, and special order opportunities.
Deliver an elevated client experience across every touchpoint, from initial introduction through post-sale follow-up.
Present collections with authority, including detailed knowledge of gemstones, craftsmanship, materials, pricing, and design story.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including purchase history, preferences, milestones, and outreach activity.
Partner closely with store leadership on appointments, events, activations, and client strategies.
Serve as a keyholder and model strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism on the sales floor.
Support boutique operations, including:
Stock handling and inventory control
Transfers and special order tracking
CRM updates, reporting, and outreach planning
Visual presentation and daily floor standards
Security, product handling, and client confidentiality compliance
Help create a refined, welcoming boutique environment that reflects high jewelry service standards.
10 or more years of experience in fine and high jewelry sales.
Proven success selling true high jewelry, including six-figure transactions and extended private selling processes.
Portable client book with demonstrated personal relationships and meaningful annual sales volume.
Track record of developing and retaining VVIP, UHNW, and collector-level clients who buy through the individual, not only through the house they represent.
Strong command of clienteling, private appointments, follow-up, and long-cycle relationship management.
Ability to thrive in a new flagship environment where the seller plays a central role in building the business.
Polished presence, sound judgment, and the discretion required for a small, high-touch luxury boutique.
Experience as a keyholder or in a similarly trusted boutique role is strongly preferred.
Comfort working fully on-site in New York, NY.
GIA certification or comparable gemological training is a plus.
Additional experience in auction, estate, signed jewelry, store openings, or new market launches is a plus.
Additional language skills are a plus for serving an international clientele.
Compensation is expected to exceed $200,000 in year one for a strong performer, with uncapped commission potential.
