A global high-jewelry house is seeking a Private Client Manager to build and grow relationships with HNW and UHNW clients. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role for an accomplished luxury seller with demonstrated experience clienteling to a HNW/UHNW audience and a strong drive to recruit new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit and develop HNW/UHNW clients through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, events and creative prospecting.
- Build long‑term client relationships and drive Fine Jewelry and High Jewelry sales through personalized outreach, appointments and client experiences.
- Develop new business while working collaboratively as part of the Madison Avenue boutique team.
Required Experience & Skills
- 8+ years of luxury sales/private‑client experience with a proven track record of clienteling to HNW/UHNW individuals.
- Strong client‑development skills and an entrepreneurial, hunter mentality. Candidates must be able to find, cultivate and convert new clients rather than rely solely on an existing book of business.
- Experience within Fine Jewelry, High Jewelry or a relevant high‑luxury environment, with the presence and commercial acumen to work with sophisticated private clients.
- Fine/High Jewelry experience is preferred. Candidates from major luxury houses may be considered when they have relevant jewelry exposure and substantial HNW/UHNW clienteling experience. French, Mandarin or other language skills are a plus.
Company Information
- Our client is an established international high‑jewelry house with a growing U.S. retail presence. The position is primarily based at its Madison Avenue flagship in New York City.
- Travel is expected approximately 30% of the time for client appointments, events, activations and other business needs.
Leadership & Culture
- Reporting to the VP of Sales, and the Store Director, this role is for a hands‑on business builder—not someone focused primarily on managing others or developing strategy for others to execute.
- The Private Client Manager will operate as part of the boutique team while independently developing new relationships and business. A collaborative approach is essential.
Benefits & Appreciation
- Base salary: $110,000–$130,000, plus eligibility for the commission program.
- Includes a full suite of competitive employee benefits.
