Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is hiring a Sales Estimator in Monroe, LA. The role focuses on contracting profitable work, building new accounts, and maintaining existing relationships within the regional focus.

You will prepare estimates, coordinate with sales staff, and manage documentation throughout the bidding process. Ideal candidates have 5 years of estimating experience, familiarity with design standards, and drafting tools like AutoSprink or SprinkCAD.

Qualifications

• 5 years of estimating experience is required.
• Proficient with design standards and codes.
• Drafting knowledge/experience with AutoSprink or SprinkCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand construction documents and prepare estimates.
• Set up folders, download documents, and complete Excel/Word worksheets.
• Communicate with AHJ or other governing agencies during bidding.
• Write and submit RFIs during the bidding phase.
• Meet with clients and manage project portals and pre-qualification forms.
