Carrier Global Corporation, through Automated Logic, seeks a Senior Sales Estimator to anchor our estimating process for large, complex building projects. You will drive accurate cost estimates across hardware, software, and labor, while mentoring junior staff and aligning PDP with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to maximize win rate and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC, or Building Controls.
• 3+ years of direct, hands-on estimating experience for commercial BAS or mechanical controls projects, including reading and interpreting complex blueprints, MEP drawings, control schematics, and bid specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for owner-direct and construction-based projects, covering hardware, software, and labor.
• Deep dive into control schematics and bid documents to accurately define project scope and eliminate risk.
• Create detailed scope letters and proposals that offer value-engineered options for our customers.
• Solicit and qualify pricing from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best market support.
• Partner with Sales leadership and Operations to align pricing strategies with market conditions and business objectives.
• Provide clear, accurate documentation and participate in turnover meetings to set execution teams up for success.
