Job summary

Socket is seeking a Sales Engineer to support commercial customers from remote locations in the United States. You will lead demos, guide technical evaluations, and translate customer needs into Socket capabilities, working with engineering, product, and sales teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pre-sales, strong background in security or SaaS, and hands-on coding skills in JavaScript or Python. You will collaborate to drive POCs, integrations, and post-sales growth across a remote-first

Qualifications

• 5+ years in pre-sales technical roles.
• Experience in security, developer tools, or SaaS environments.
• Hands-on software engineering or data science background.
• Fluency with JavaScript or Python; reading/writing basics in Go.

Responsibilities

• Lead product demonstrations and respond to customer questions.
• Craft technical guidance for implementing use cases and integrations.
• Translate customer requirements to Socket capabilities and value.
• Support POCs with technical guidance throughout evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer outcomes.
