Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Production Engineer in Denton, TX to support the design and development of manufacturing processes for heavy truck components.

You will prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, and calculations, while coordinating with internal teams and customers to meet time and budget requirements. Travel up to 20% may be required; 4+ years in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering required; mechanical/mechatronics or equivalent.
• Min 4 years in product design, process development, and manufacturing support.
• Experience in commercial truck engineering preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and troubleshoot electrical/diagnostic systems of trucks.
• Drive process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Apply engineering fundamentals and standard procedures in design.
• Create designs meeting customer needs while adhering to FMVSS/CMVSS codes.
• Prepare estimates for design time, labor, tooling, and materials for quotes.
• Develop BOMs, drawings, and calculations for projects.
