Job summary

7AI in Chicago is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our go-to-market team as one of our first senior technical hires.

You will shape how we engage customers and help scale our technical sales motion, partnering with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to lead technical discovery, design solutions, and explain the value of our AI-powered cybersecurity platform to both technical and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity-focused Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Demonstrated success in complex B2B enterprise sales, preferably in startup environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of cybersecurity principles and threat landscapes.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies in the security domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales conversations for high-value customer engagements.
• Advise senior IT and security executives, understanding their threat landscape and environment.
• Design and deliver technical demonstrations and POCs showing platform capabilities.
