You are the subject matter expert in your domain, whether technical or industry-specific. You stay current on emerging industry and technology trends and leverage this knowledge to support the advancement of complex sales opportunities. You have developed a broad and deep network across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, actively engaging and developing opportunities with team members.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Architect technology solutions and present Precisely solutions, demonstrating the value of offerings in sales meetings, customer/partner workshops, and events such as meetups and conferences.
- Support enterprise solution sales opportunities across regions.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for implementing Precisely solutions in customer environments (On-Premise, Cloud, Hybrid).
- Offer consultative solutions across multiple business units (e.g., Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail, etc.).
- Lead customers through a transformational journey by understanding their goals and objectives and guiding the adoption of Precisely solutions as part of their strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to identify additional customer engagement opportunities, evaluate technical risks, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate creation of collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with other teams to meet client needs (e.g., reference architectures, deployment and implementation roadmaps).
- Stay informed on the latest industry and technology developments, identifying opportunities to implement new technologies for competitive advantage.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as sales engineering, software architecture, cloud computing, data & analytics.
- Design, implementation, or consulting experience in application architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and analytics.
- Knowledge of data management domains like data integration, quality, governance, and master data management.
- Experience with location intelligence (geocoding, addressing solutions) and data enrichment is advantageous.
- Expertise with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
- Strong ability to formulate solution storylines, collaborate on client value propositions, and excel in product/concept selling, pre-sales, and solution architecture with executive presence.
- Excellent technical communication skills to bridge business outcomes and technical requirements.
- Experience across major industries, including Public Sector, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Utilities, and PropTech.
