Requirements
- This role requires extensive knowledge of the sales development landscape and strong people management skills, with the ability to recruit, develop, and enhance the essential competencies of individual contributors and leaders.
- Several years of second-line leadership experience, focusing on prospecting in the AMER region.
- Demonstrable success in driving pipeline generation through outbound channels.
- Strong sales acumen; experience in a closing role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with a robust tech stack, including Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, or similar products.
- Passion for hiring, onboarding, and mentoring top SDR and leadership talent.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, especially within Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
- Experience leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives from ideation through execution.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to increase SDR performance.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working remotely is not required but considered a plus.
What the job involves
- The Sr. Manager, Account Development - AMER, is a key leadership role within our GTM organization, responsible for achieving pipeline generation and revenue goals for our product suite.
- Overseeing the productivity of 3 ADR Managers and their teams, as well as developing Sales Development Leaders, and contributing to outbound strategy in the Americas.
- Defining outbound strategy for the Sales Development organization.
- Providing leadership and strategic direction to the Sales Development team.
- Coaching and mentoring SDRs and junior leaders to achieve outbound pipeline goals and support their career growth.
- Developing and implementing programs to enhance SDR effectiveness and results.
- Collaborating with regional Sales Leaders, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enablement teams to improve pipeline quality and quantity.
- Reporting on key metrics to identify improvement areas and refine qualification and engagement strategies.
- Managing team performance and advising on performance management of sub-teams.
- Hiring, onboarding, and developing new SDR and leadership talent.
- Fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Reporting to: Director, Global Sales Development.
- Direct reports: 3 Managers.
- Sub-teams: 3 teams of Account Development Representatives in AMER.
