Sr. Sales Consultant

Compensation: $125K-$200K per year

Job Type: Full-Time

NY State Solar sells, designs, and builds quality solar systems in the New York City metropolitan area. Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver high-quality PV systems. We are dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable.

A Senior Sales Representative acts as a Home Consultant to educate and meet with local homeowners interested in going solar, serving as a partner and liaison throughout the entire process.

Responsibilities
  • Educate homeowners about available programs and gather necessary documents for proposals.
  • Follow up on all self-generated leads and convert projects into contracts.
  • Commit to personal growth and ongoing education.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of in-home sales experience.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce) and ability to communicate via multiple platforms (Email, Chatter, WhatsApp).
  • Comfort discussing finances and tax implications with homeowners.
  • High energy, sense of urgency, ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
