We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales & BD Consultant to join our CMMC Services team.

Position Summary

This role involves developing new clients, increasing brand awareness, leveraging partnerships and existing relationships to grow the CMMC business, and contributing to strategic planning and market expansion within the Defense Industrial Base.

This is a full-time, remote position within the United States with limited travel.

What you'll do

  • Identify and qualify leads for CMMC compliance services within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects through outreach and relationship building.
  • Collaborate on the execution and strategy of the CMMC sales program.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements for CMMC opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams, including technical experts and consultants.
  • Develop tailored proposals for potential clients.

What you'll bring

  • Experience managing CMMC sales pipelines and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in developing proposals related to CMMC offerings.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders across various departments.
  • Ability to collaborate with marketing to drive demand.
  • Experience in sales strategy development and client management from pre-sales to contract closure.
  • Established relationships within the CMMC ecosystem, Cyber AB, and DoD.
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle and business development processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.
  • Flexibility to support other business development opportunities outside of CMMC.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in an IT-related field.

Clearance / Suitability

Ability to obtain a clearance or Public Trust is preferred; all levels considered.

Certifications

Active cybersecurity certifications or CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) are a plus but not required.

Years of Experience

  • At least 6+ years in business development or capture, selling services to commercial/public sector clients.
  • Minimum 3+ years selling/delivering cybersecurity solutions, with a strong preference for CMMC experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in both commercial and federal sales practices.
  • Established contacts in the Defense Supply Chain.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards like FedRAMP and FISMA.
