Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to help create a pleasant work environment and strong customer relationships. The role includes supporting sales goals, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.

You will back up management as needed, assist in payroll and interviews, and contribute to the work therapy program by modeling professional conduct and supervising beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Supervisory skills.
• Able to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting sales, production and expense budget goals.
• Schedule store personnel and complete payroll information for staff.
• Receive applications and participate in interviews as requested.
• Train, direct and supervise new employees.
• Ensure policies, procedures and regulations are followed.
• Complete sales reports and forward to finance daily.
• Keep the store well stocked and assist as needed.
• Act as backup for Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Support the work therapy program for beneficiaries with professional conduct and supervision.
