Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center seeks a Senior Sales Associate to help create a pleasant work environment and maintain excellent customer relationships. This role supports sales, staff scheduling, payroll processing, and interview participation.

The position includes supervising new staff, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining stock levels while backing up the Store Manager as needed. It also supports the work therapy program for beneficiaries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule store personnel.
• Complete payroll information for all staff.
• Receive applications and participate in interviews as requested.
• Train, direct, and supervise new employees.
• Ensure that store personnel are aware of and in compliance with all policies, procedures, and government regulations, that sales reports and other required paperwork are completed and forwarded to the finance office daily, and that the store is well stocked.
• Backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• Support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).
