Position Title: Senior Sales Associate

Reports To: Store Leader

Classification: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly

Position Overview

The SSA supports the store leadership team in achieving customer service, sales, ATF requirements, and safety standards while demonstrating outstanding customer service and leadership. Responsible for opening and closing the store, range safety, cleanliness standards, and personal sales goals. Expected to learn policies and procedures for daily store operations in the absence of Store Leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and foster lasting relationships.
• Greet customers and facilitate their experience.
• Cross-sell products and inform customers of services, discounts, and promotions.
• Meet or exceed sales and store metric goals.
• Answer customer questions regarding products.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness.
• Handle required documentation including 4473 forms, gun counts, and audits.
• Manage store software for sales and inventory updates.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, ensuring store security and cleanliness.
• Follow firearm safety rules and ensure range maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations during firearm sales.
• Stay updated on new products and industry trends.

Desired Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience, preferably in retail.
• Ability to understand and follow complex compliance regulations.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

• Extended periods of standing.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Working at heights up to 10 feet.
