The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers make a difference in people's lives. Through the collection and resale of gently used goods, we provide financial support to assist men and women with social and spiritual challenges. Our in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities, providing a clean and healthy living environment, nutritious food, work therapy, leisure activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual guidance. Our goal is to develop life skills and foster a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Each team member contributes to recycling goods that help repair broken lives.

Position

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to help create and maintain a positive work environment and excellent customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in achieving sales, production, and expense goals to ensure profitability.
• Schedule store personnel and handle payroll information.
• Participate in hiring processes, including reviewing applications and conducting interviews.
• Train, guide, and supervise new employees.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete and submit sales reports and other required documentation daily.
• Maintain well-stocked store shelves.
• Serve as backup for the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager as needed.
• Support the work therapy program by exemplifying professional conduct, supervising beneficiaries, and assisting as directed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, sales experience, and the ability to interpret income and expense reports. A valid driver’s license, excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and supervisory abilities are also required.
