Job summary

WEX FSM is seeking a Sr Sales Account Executive to drive strategic growth across an assigned territory, leading complex B2B sales with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical contractors. You’ll guide the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while mentoring junior sellers and shaping territory strategy.

In this quota-carrying role you’ll collaborate with regional leadership, manage a robust Salesforce pipeline, and pursue larger multi-location or high-value accounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-performing B2B sales experience in SaaS/fintech or SMB tech markets.
• Proven ability to sell in complex or strategic environments (multi-location, enterprise SMBs, high-ACV deals).
• Deep understanding of the sales process and ability to tailor consultative approaches to contractor business models.
• Comfortable mentoring and collaborating with junior sellers to raise team performance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to solution presentation, proposal, and close.
• Drive outbound activity and manage inbound leads to maximize territory penetration and win rates.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline using Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
• Partner with Regional Sales Manager and Marketing to refine GTM strategies and feedback loops.
• Actively contribute to improving sales processes, messaging, and playbooks through data-informed insight.
• Prepare for career progression into leadership roles.
